HP’s Omen 30L looks good and is a capable high-end gamer in our configuration with an RTX 3080. But you’ll want to set aside time to remove bloatware. And given the limited cooling, you should probably opt for something less than the 10900K CPU in our review unit.

HP’s Omen 30L is a solid pick for a mainstream gaming tower, if a smidge unpolished inside. It's widely configurable, with AMD and Intel CPU flavors, overclocking options, and RGB lighting.

The HP Omen 30L fits in some high-end hardware into a bit of a tight space. It keeps the performance up, but doesn’t have many options for improving thermals beyond increasing the noise if they start to become a problem.
