The Vitamix 750 is fantastic for multi-purpose use. It's very well-built and delivers a versatile performance. It can make a silky puree of fibrous ingredients, so it's suitable for single-serve smoothies or a big batch of soup. It easily crushes ice cubes and has no trouble with tough ingredients like nuts, although you may need to scrape the sides of the jar with thicker mixtures like nut butter. You can also use it to process hot ingredients. Unfortunately, it isn't dishwasher-safe, but it's quite easy to wash by hand.

With the words “light industrial food preparing machine” stamped on its base, it’s best to think of the Vitamix Professional Series 750 as far more than a blender.
