NutriBullet Rx

The NutriBullet Rx is decent for multi-purpose use. It's well-suited for blending smoothies and soups since it easily purees fibrous ingredients like kale. It's not meant for blending hot ingredients, like roasted vegetables straight from the oven, but it can heat room temperature ingredients as they blend. It's also fantastic for thick mixtures like nut butter and hummus, and does a good job of crushing ice. However, the blades need to be cleaned by hand, which can be a bit time-consuming. It has a smaller capacity than most full-size blenders.

The Nutribullet Rx is listed under personal blenders on the brand’s website, but its 1700W of power far exceeds even the full-size blenders offered by the company. It’s a mighty blender with two large-handled cups and a 34oz/ 1-liter pitcher for liquefying ingredients into hot soups. It certainly has the power to blend fruit and veg into smooth drinks; but with just one speed level, it doesn’t offer the versatility for more delicate chopping or blending tasks.

Not content with making it easier to get your five-a-day through smoothies, NutriBullet is now championing healthy soups with its Rx model. While it isn’t the first blender to ramp up the power in order to cook the contents, the Rx is more compact than equivalent professional-style machines.
